The Talagard Solar Park is located at the entrance to the Talagard massif, not far from the A7 motorway, on a former municipal landfill that was decommissioned in the 1980s. This solar park built and operated by Voltalia is therefore located on land belonging to the City of Salon-de-Provence, a municipality that has a strong desire to develop renewable energies on its territory.
Covering an area of nearly 6.5 ha, this 5 MW park can produce 7,875 MWh of average annual production corresponding to the consumption of 7,292 inhabitants (excluding heating).
Its operation is scheduled for 25 years, ending in 2044 with the possibility of extension.
