By not turning our backs on any challenge and believing that it is possible to provide energy to any location, Voltalia embraced every adversity and setback that this project, located in a mountainous area instead of the traditional flat solar park, presented.
With an installed capacity of 48.9 MWp, the Photovoltaic Plant of Morgado do Arge - Cotovio has high slopes of around 30º, presenting enormous challenges in the construction of the park. Its vastness and the selection of different locations for better sun exposure were some of the challenges that Voltalia is proud to have overcome through a set of innovative and challenging solutions, as can be seen in the images.
One of the main concerns regarding the construction of this solar park was the preservation of trees and protected species. This presented a challenge for the arrangement of the module structures and led to a hybrid design between technology and nature.
This innovative project aims to differentiate Voltalia from its competitors by offering a personalized service that meets its customers' expectations of excellence.
